Now, I’m charged-up and looking for my next full-time role. Keep reading for the Why and Whats.

For context, 123Code was a code-consultancy that helped tech companies rewrite, optimize, and maintain their codebases or as I called it — “car garage for tech companies”.

Why go “back” being a full-timer?

I miss being part of a team building something together and seeing it grow long-term.

The constant context switching between client projects, leading staff, writing code, and business development was draining my battery. As an ADHDer, this means it’s time for a change, reorganization, and back to focus.

So, I want to focus on mentoring people and designing codebase architecture that makes working hours enjoyable for everyone.

What do I bring?

15+ years of full-stack development as in front-back-devops, 5+ years managing onsite and remote teams across timezones. I have turned plenty of “we need to rewrite everything!” panic into “actually, let’s just refactor this part and continue with working on that feature that needs to be shipped” success stories.

For more technical jargon of languages and frameworks I know and use, visit my GitHub page. You will encounter a MEGA table of all the buzzwords I have used over the years.

What am I looking for?

Team/Tech Lead, Staff/Principal Engineer, Engineering Manager. Places where I can help teams ship sustainably, not only shipping faster. Where growth and mentoring actually matter. Where we can wonder “should we build it?”, before we build it spectacularly wrong.

Open to opportunities in Israel or remote with reasonable timezone overlap for actual communication.

If you know a team that needs someone who genuinely enjoys figuring out why the CI/CD process is slow, or advocates for product managers writing feature documents rather than never ending stories, and believes documentation shouldn’t suck, let’s talk.

Full background at idan.goldman.work - and yes, I’ll actually respond to messages myself, no AI or templates involved, besides that one of course 😉.
